Hi! Im back with exciting updates AND.... AM EXTREMELY HAPPY! heh heh :D
4 things:

1. Grandpa's outta the hospital! Gonna go visit him sometime nxt wk (:

2. ASSESMENT'S FREAKING OVERRRRRRRRR!!! and I think my presentation went pretty well. yay me!

3. As some of you know, I participated in a "Imagine for Red" : Fashion Show/Contest for HIV/AIDS Awareness. Basically, a fashion design competition. I CAME IN 2ND!! (: (: (:
(more abt that later)

4. So...the prizes for the competition were the normal 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Plus, an internship with Cleo magazine for one of the designers/team. The internship wasnt based on the winning teams, but on the Cleo team's own choice outta all 15 participating designers/teams.
anddd..... I GOT THE CLEO INTERNSHIP!!!

So, I'll be starting in July under their fashion dept!

Last Saturday during KinderArt class..

Now now, this little boy is barely 5!

tuesday : was the day when ele&i looked identical (in terms of dressing), and a number of us wore blue! haha. it was also the day when bernteo dropped by, and phsycology/hist lect was pretty interesting (think homo talks etc). car ride to order boards for the class was fun, and i cant rem what i did after 6pm. studio probably. but all in all, it was a happy day (:

tutorial week's been awesomely tiring.
ive been spending more than almost 2/3 of my days with the same pple, but all's nice (:
early morns till late nights (say, 11pm in sch?) and the ultimate musthave - tauhuay breaks! yay

please remind me that ive got my printmaking final design to come up with, and rush on monday. and of course, my selfpotrait due on friday (i know im uber slow).
awesome-o.

and i swear, ama's crazy.
she lauged at everything i said today. her swelled eyes are affecting her sanity.

i never knew macbook's photobooth could be sooo much fun and a stress reliever (:

and while we were rushing our montages, this two camwhored. HAHA

then it was my turn, while waiting for my montage to render.

and then again, the nxt day, when everybody was figuring out the video cams and err...waiting for their turn to burn their vids into dics (using ama's macbook..and i was hogging it. heh)

i was freezing cold on friday! wore longsleeves, and ele's cardi over...didn help. okay anw, im over and done with my damn montage! :D
but we'll hafta start on our video on monday, marienne wants all shots and audio(?) in by friday...then we'll hafta work on it with final cut pro, again.
damn you, final cut pro! i hate you! urgh.

ohoh! ele and i visited marienne at her studio on friday, cause i needed to hand in my montage and storyboard. we made a new friend! haha. lecturer to be exact, sabrina.
we explored their workspace and found out tonnes. and i think we talked and asked too much ques.

sabrina to marienne : eh your students very stress is it? why they talk so much? fine arts ar?
marienne to sabrina : er yea, fine arts.

we yaked and yaked till sabrina asked us to sit down and gave us a piece of paper to fill up. i suspect its part of her proj.
it stated :
1. Whats the simpliest question?
2. Whats the hardest question?

i left both blank, and returned it to her. cause there isnt any most simple and hardest ques, in my opinion. i cant rem what ele wrote.
sent marienne down to the foyer, and went off to peninsular to collect our photography stuff.

8th Aug - National, Dan, Edwin aka Wisdom & Shihan's birthday celebration! (:

PINKIES EVERYBODY! :D
(ohyea, everybody in class has hotpink pinkies! ps. i bring my hotpink nailpolish to sch everyday. okay, its in my drawer. HAH)

alex's super duper high platform boots.

ohyea, ele and i set up this "card writting booth" thingy near my easel, so that everybody cld secretly hide behind the easel to write birthday stuff on dan's and edwin's cards. so there, i took a pic of mr chng doing it. HAHA.
i had to make sure dan and edwin didn get near that easel. so everytime either one of them came near, somebody had to pretend to ask them to get to the other side of the studio.

ele and i sneaked off to collect our customized cake before lunch. and the uncle was damnnnn nice! at first, while we were talking to the auntie abt their famous pastry shop (le cafe), the uncle gave us a piece of brownie each. it was sooo yummy i tell you!
then, he came out with mooncake lookalike stuff...oh-so-good! then when we were abt to go off, he handed us our fave BEANCURD TARTS! omg, we were so full after. but omg, damnnnn good! we were satisfied kids :D

back to class with the cake. we had to sneak to the back of the studio to prepare for the big surprise. and then, when mr chng finally gathered everybody... SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE, DAN, SHIHAN and EDWIN (aka. wisdom) !! :D

shihan and wisdom were really surprised! cause they thought we were only gonna celebrate dan's bday (:

in case you were wondering...edwin/wisdom's our lecturer, not classmate. hes a big kid.HAHA

it was a HAPPY HAPPY national/birthday celebration day! FineArt hooo!!! :D

LOOK! tiffany's mini neoprint machine! HAHA. damnnn fun.
its like, you take pictures with it, then decorate it! like a neoprint machine! but the words were all in jap, so theres nth much we cld do (or knew how to). and the pictures turned out quite blurry..ohwells.
anyhows, we just kept using it to take pictures (:

thennnn! we went to our own FineArt private rooftop just outside our studio to take pictures, since serena's cam's got a few shots left. and ya, we got pretty bored after lunch (:

omg! dan looks like a kid here! HAHA

the floor was really, really hot! burning!

we tried to get the perfect jumpshots, but failed. HAHA. so we retreated back to the studio.

24th july - 2nd day of the new sch yr. finally, yr 2! :D
we were cleaning our newly assigned cupboard/table and easles. and now, we've even choosen our very own chairs! HAHA.
mine has a big "GRACIA!" stuck at the back of it, so it'll be permanantly mine for this yr.

and ya, i totally embarrased myself at num due to some stupid actions and things i said...out loud!

no more Interior Design for me, my next choice being Photography's gone too. even Jewellery Design too.

Fashion Design is impossible cause there're only 4 of us in class who wants to minor in that.
i will not minor in any FineArt subj, i wanna do smth outta my major course.
so...Performing Arts it is. it isnt that bad, most of my classmates are gonna minor in that. FUN PEOPLE! :D
but i very much want Interior Design know? :(

andddd! another sad thing.
okay, i just changed my naval stud last night.
and guess what! the top of it somehow got unscrewed, and dropped somewhere! I LOST IT! :(
new one okay!!!! :( :(

on a lighter note, sch's been pretty fun! :D
class ended relatively early today, so we went to the com labs to wave goodbye to the VC pple. HAHAH!
for once okay! that we end lessons earlier than them! to think that last sem, they wld come to 6-12 at abt 2pm?..to wave goodbye to us.
